The construction of the Kalibaru 1A & 1B modern container terminal is one of our strategic projects in strengthening Tanjung Priok Port as the main gate for national logistics. This Pelindo-owned project includes the development of 260 hectares of land and is carried out with the contractor PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk. Started in May 2024 and still ongoing today, this project is an important milestone in improving the efficiency of goods distribution in Indonesia.
As a large-scale maritime infrastructure, this project faced very complex technical challenges, especially in the process of building the main access road, jetty and breakwater. The main challenge we faced was the very strict specifications and controls for the underwater casting process. The corrosive marine environment required us to provide materials that were not only structurally strong, but also resistant to long-term exposure to seawater without compromising the quality of castings in hard-to-reach locations.
Solusi Bangun Beton responds to these challenges by acting as the main supplier of ready-mix concrete. We provide high quality concrete solutions with guaranteed quality through FC37, FC40, and FC45 specifications. In addition, we use innovative AeerCrete and MarineCrete products specifically designed to meet the needs of high-precision underwater casting. Through strict quality control, we have successfully completed the Kalibaru phase 1A &1B project in accordance with the specified schedule. This success confirms our capability in supporting the development of national maritime infrastructure with the best quality standards.
