The construction of IKEA Bandung is one of our proud projects that covers an area of about 7 Ha or 67,000 m². The project, owned by IKEA, was carried out with contractor PT Total Bangun Persada from August 2020 to 2021. As one of the world's leading wholesalers, the trust given to us to supply Dynamix concrete as well as apply flooring throughout the project area is an important reference for our group's capabilities in the construction industry.
During the construction period, we faced challenges in the form of designs from consultants that often changed, requiring us to be very agile in coordinating with all relevant stakeholders. In addition, this project was carried out in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, where safety regulations were very strict and limited operational space. We also had to pursue a massive flooring target with a concrete supply capacity of 300 m³ per day to meet the daily completion target of 1,500 m².
Solusi Bangun Indonesia through PT Pendawa Lestari Perkasa responded to the challenge by prioritizing an agile attitude in order to keep up with the flow of design changes and plan schedules. We ensure that intensive coordination is carried out at every stage of the work and still comply with all applicable health protocols and safety regulations without reducing the quality of the final result. We provide flat floor application services through ApexCrete to ensure the entire floor has perfect flatness according to the high standards requested by customers. As a result, the work was completed on time as scheduled, the concrete passed the quality control test, and the store could be opened as planned with an excellent level of customer satisfaction.
