Jabodetabek LRT
The construction of Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 1 is one of the most strategic mass transportation infrastructure projects we have ever handled to improve public mobility and travel time efficiency in metropolitan areas. The project, developed by PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, runs from August 2016 to 2022. In this megaproject, we through Solusi Bangun Beton contributed as the main supplier of aggregate material with a total volume of 300,000 tons.
As a project that crosses Jakarta's main transportation routes, the biggest challenge we faced was the operational time constraint. To minimize extreme traffic disruption, most of the structural works were only allowed to be carried out at night, between 23:00 and 05:00 WIB. This very short time window made the schedule very challenging, as we were required to deliver materials with high precision amidst limited space and time.
Solusi Bangun Beton responded to the challenge by deploying a reliable management team and a robust logistics system. We ensured the split material supply capacity for girder production was maintained up to 20,000 tons to ensure project continuity. During the peak production period, we proved our capability by meeting aggregate demand of up to 12,000 - 20,000 tons per day. Through careful operational coordination, we successfully supported the timely completion of this sustainable transportation route, which is now fully operational and a reliable solution for the community to avoid congestion.
