The construction of Sumbawa Dam is a strategic project that plays an important role in strengthening water security and national water resources infrastructure in the West Nusa Tenggara region. Undertaken by PT Brantas Abipraya through a strategic collaboration with PT Bumi Gresik Sukses as a distributor partner, the project runs from September to December 2023. In this project, Solusi Bangun Beton is trusted to provide ready-mix concrete material support to ensure the structural integrity of the weir body at various points of the construction site.
The project's location in an area with limited sources of quality materials was a major obstacle in meeting the strict technical specifications. In addition, the complexity of the work lies in the casting points that are scattered in several separate locations on the weir body. This condition makes it difficult to mobilize conventional liquid concrete and requires a much more flexible method that still ensures quality consistency in every part of the structure built.
Solusi Bangun Beton presents an innovative solution through the supply of 20,000 bags of 50 kg Mini PakCrete (instant concrete) in K300 and K250 grades. Manufactured in Surabaya using selected aggregates from Jeladri quarry and Sprint Pro cement, this product provides easy mobilization to hard-to-reach casting points. To ensure transparency and quality, the project owner and contractor paid a visit to the batching plant in Surabaya to witness the production process and product testing. As a result, the project was completed on time with quality standards that met technical expectations, proving the reliability of Solusi Bangun Beton in providing adaptive and proven construction solutions.
