Standing on an area of 100 hectares, Lotte Group's chemical plant complex is the largest integrated chemical production facility in Southeast Asia. This strategic project is designed to strengthen the independence of the national industry by significantly cutting dependence on imports of basic chemicals. In this massive project that lasts from early 2021 to the end of 2024, Solusi Bangun Beton is trusted as the main supplier of ready-mix concrete with a total volume of 180,000 m³.
The massive scale of the project with its huge volume of concrete requirements necessitated seamless logistics management. The main challenge lay in maintaining continuity of delivery from the batching plant to the project site which was ±12 km away amidst the activity of the busy Merak industrial area. Stability of supply was key to keep the concrete production capacity synchronized with the casting schedule of the complex plant structure.
We responded to these challenges through intensive resource coordination and in-depth mapping of project needs in weekly coordination. With fleet optimization and precise operational management, the target volume was achieved according to the maximum capacity of the batching plant. As a result, the quality of concrete was guaranteed with zero rejects, ensuring that the entire plant structure was built according to technical specifications and the planned schedule.
