PLTU Jawa 9 & 10
PT. Indonesia Power
The construction of PLTU Jawa 9 & 10 is one of the most strategic energy infrastructure projects that we handle to strengthen national energy security. We are working on this project with PT Indonesia Power contractor PT Hutama Karya in the period 2020 to 2024. With an installed capacity of 2x1,000 MW, this power plant plays a crucial role in increasing the stability of electricity supply in the Java-Bali system by 6.4% and supporting the national target of 35,000 MW.
As the first hybrid power plant to use green ammonia and green hydrogen through Ultra Selective Catalytic Reduction technology, the project had highly specialized and stringent technical specifications. The main challenges we faced were the project's location in an extreme corrosive environment and the need for continuity in the supply of large volumes of concrete, reaching 350 to 400 m³ per day, without compromising the quality of each structure.
Solusi Bangun Beton responded to this challenge by acting as the sole supplier of ready-mixed concrete through the placement of onsite batching plants to ensure consistency of delivery. We apply StilCrete and MarineCrete products that are specifically designed for durability in extreme environments and support the need for long retardation concrete. Through the provision of precision concrete solutions, we ensure that all stages of construction run smoothly on schedule. This success strengthens our position as a trusted partner in the development of sustainable, state-of-the-art energy infrastructure in Indonesia.
