The construction of the Bintek Pusjatan Circuit in Bandung is one of our strategic projects in supporting the development of research and testing facilities for road technology and electric vehicles in Indonesia. Developed by Bintek Pusjatan Bandung, the project was commissioned through our subsidiary, PT Pendawa Lestari Perkasa, in November 2022 with an area of 595 m². The circuit is specifically designed as an innovative test track and showcase for research into electric vehicles and the latest road technologies.
As a testing facility, the circuit demands the use of various types of very specific pavement technologies, such as plastic asphalt, rubberized asphalt, porous asphalt, and porous concrete. The main challenge we faced was applying these specialized products in one functional area that had to meet high accuracy standards. This is crucial for builders and students conducting tests on electric vehicles, so every detail of the material must be able to support precise testing of the vehicle's structure and performance.
Solusi Bangun Beton through our subsidiary, PT Pendawa Lestari Perkasa, responded to the challenge by presenting ThruCrete and other innovative concrete formulations as part of the special product specifications developed with Bintek Pusjatan. We play an active role in designing materials with precise technical characteristics to support the circuit's function as a showcase of pavement technology, including the application of lightweight fill and FABA backfill. Through a high level of accuracy in formulating mixes, we ensure that the facility can be optimally utilized as an applied research tool. This success reinforces our position as a reliable partner in the development of innovative concrete products tailored to specific technical needs and national research standards.
