Jakarta, January 9, 2025 - Not wanting to waste time, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI) through its subsidiary, PT Solusi Bangun Beton, officially increased the number of concrete delivery trucks by 20 units of regular trucks and 24 units of small size trucks to serve the demand for ready-mixed concrete in various areas in Jakarta, Banten and surrounding areas. The 44 units of trucks were received directly by the Director of PT Solusi Bangun Beton, Giri Prabowo at the Solusi Bangun Indonesia Narogong Factory, Bogor, West Java on January 8, 2025.
Giri Prabowo said that the addition of this fleet is part of the Company's strategy to optimize the fulfillment of large-scale construction market demand to housing or retail needs. “Currently, we operate more than 30 ready-mixed concrete plants spread across Java Island. The addition of this fleet is our strategic step to expand our service coverage and introduce the quality of environmentally friendly concrete to more regions and customers,” said Giri Prabowo.
Solusi Bangun Indonesia's ready mix concrete products are green cement derivatives produced by Solusi Bangun Indonesia under the Dynamix brand. With the support of supply from three cement plants in Java, Solusi Bangun Indonesia has the capability to meet the needs of ready-mixed concrete production that is lower in carbon emissions, making it more environmentally friendly.
Citing projections by research firm BCI, the construction market is expected to experience steady growth in 2025, particularly in the building sector, although challenges are expected in civil construction due to budget constraints. In fact, the total construction project market in 2025 is expected to grow by 5.48% compared to 2024 where one of the drivers is the residential and industrial sectors which are expected to be the largest contributors.
Solusi Bangun Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), has supplied ready-mix concrete for several construction projects including the Lotte Chemical Indonesia Industrial Estate, Cainiao Cikarang Logistics Park, TransJakarta bus lane improvements, Jakarta - Merak toll road widening, Cipali toll road, West Serang - East Cilegon toll road, and Kataraja toll road (Kamal - Teluk Naga - Rajeg - Balaraja).
